We showcase a line of micro batch roasted and handcrafted spice blends, Bombay Chili Crunch as well as authentic Masala Chai and Cardamom Coffee. Our versatile spice blends are perfect for grilling, stir fry, stews and more!

Meet the Founder
Chef Jasmine is the founder of Tasting India. Her connection with spices is personal, coming from a long line of fierce and talented women, with very fond memories of cooking and learning the magic of spices, business and independence with her aunts and mother.
Her passion for sharing foods and flavors, associated with love, inspired Tasting India’s line of micro batch crafted products.
Food has always been Chef Jasmine’s favorite way to create new bonds and strengthen connections, and she is grateful to spend her time building a community that is United by Spice!
A letter from the Founder: A Spice Merchant’s Legacy
In my journey of dreaming up this company, I learnt about my maternal grandfather, one of the biggest spice merchants of his time, in Kolkata, India.
My childhood was peppered with tales recounted by my mom and aunts, of playing amongst countless of sacks of spices, the heady perfume filling the air of her childhood home. These early stories were instrumental in my quest for understanding the magic of spices and forming my vision. I remember having clarity of my path at an early age, of becoming a chef, feeding people and building shared experiences through food.
Spices have been the very foundation of all my happy memories, and through Tasting India, I hope to offer you a tantalizing glimpse of the rich, vibrant culture of my grandfather’s legacy and homeland, showcasing these magical spices that elevate flavors across different cuisines.
